I had often had to sift through references to another sleep schedule when looking for information on the Uberman, called Everyman. At the time it had sounded like a cop-out, and nowhere near as cool as the Uberman. Now that I had tried the Uberman, it seemed like the Everyman actually had everything I was looking for. It uses a core 3-hour nap at night (which would give me the long period in bed that I was craving), and then three short 20 minute naps during the day. Critically the naps during the day can be moved by up to an hour in either direction on a daily basis (once adapted) with no noticeable effect. This would therefore give me the flexibility I was looking for. I have recruited a friend or two to give it a go, and we aim to give it a go in September or October of 2011. Watch this space...
